I can respect the wonderful shots (this is noir, after all) and the acting etc. However, I wasn't really that into it. how I felt about it was similar to my feelings for A Streetcar Named Desire. Twisted story that was too dark and creepy to be enjoyed much.
I like twisted but I thought this was uncomfortable and ridiculous to the point of being unbelievable. certainly not something I'd put in the top 100 best movies.
