This is a great classic movie about Hollywood, lost fame, and tragedy. The movie is well acted and written.
The movie is about a young writer who needs a job and he finds a job working with a former silver screen movie actress who once in her day was very famous and many years later forgotten with age. She tries to make a come back with the young writer but her jealosy leads to tragedy in the end. The famous quote to the news photographers and reporters is " I am ready for my close up Mr. DeMille".
