There's nothing quite like insanity on any level. A film filled with superb performances by Holden, Stronheim and of course Golaira Swanson. A fantastic piece of cinema. Perhaps this most unexpectedly dark and sinister film I have ever seen from this era.
"Alright Mr. DeMille I'm ready for my close up".
