One of the all-time greats for sure! Gloria Swanson playing Norma Desmond is one of the greatest performances in film history! The way they portray Hollywood at that time hits the pulse so perfect. They actually have Buster Keaton, silent film extraordinaire, playing one of "the waxworks" and Cecil B.
De Mille plays himself! There are tons of other parralels between Sunset Blvd and actual Hollywood at that time. Fantastic film, must see just for Gloria Swanson!
