Nothing I can say that hasn't been said about Billy Wilder's noir classic. There is really good acting from William Holden and especially Gloria Swanson as Norma Desmond. One interesting fact is that Gloria Swanson was also a big star in silent movies but suffered after "talkies" hit the screen giving her much in common with the character she plays in "Sunset Boulevard" if you haven't seen this and like classic films your missing out.
