Review of Sunset Boulevard (1950) by Elizabeth S — 17 Sep 2012

I know, it took me years, but I finally saw it! My favorite thing is how the people playing the "old Hollywood" stars ARE REALLY THOSE PEOPLE (Erich von Stroheim -- sniffle)! Yes, the relationship (should we call it that?) is edgy and interesting, but we know the ending too easily and our hero's love interest is pretty blah.

I also couldn't stop thinking about how my mom would be making fun of Norma's scary/overdramatic facial expressions. But this one kept me absorbed.
