"I am big, it's the pictures that got small!" - My favourite movie quote of all time.

I believe that films should be visual. However all language is fallible and therefore visual and verbal together is much stronger. Here Wilder shows the strength in a great screenplay and tight plotting with acting and shots that are a perfect accompaniment by showing exactly what is said without distracting. Though one does marvel at Swansons crazed meglomania, how could that not be real?

I have not found a fault in this film other than my own bias - I infinitely prefer visual oriented films.
