Review of Sunset Boulevard (1950) by Kyle V — 15 Aug 2009
Wow....this film was absolutely suprisingly stunning. Norma Desmond manages to be one of the best movie villians while also preying on our sympathies at the same time. Never have I absolutely despised a villian for being so grotesque and naive since The Penguin in Batman Returns.
William holden looks alot like Kyle Machlaclan as well.
Brilliant film. Probably one of the best films from 1950's Hollywood i've seen thus far, with the exception of On the Waterfront.
