Review of Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) by Irvin C — 25 Oct 2007
This is a gorgeous film. It's suspenseful, it's got surprising flashes of humor and one of the beautiful, moving love stories ever captured on film. I saw this in a tiny youtube screen but even then, the film's beauty and Murnau's groundbreaking visuals still shone through.
Fantastic performances by the two leads.
