Review of Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) by Kevin N — 04 Feb 2008
"Sunrise" is a breathtakingly beautiful example of the very best in silent film. I've seen this film three times now, and I enjoy it more at each viewing. "Sunrise" also demands your full attention.
Silent dramas are often tedious for a first time viewer for this reason. But, if you give a little more, you get a lot back resulting in total immersion. I really can't praise this movie enough.
