Review of Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) by Levon P — 12 Jul 2008
Truly one of the greatest silent films ever made. Featuring the bare minimum of intertitles, "Sunrise" proves that dialogue is completely unnecessary in crafting an compelling narrative. Amazingly, this film was shot entirely on backlots and soundstages.
Worth studying for anyone interested in film.
