Review of Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) by Chris M — 10 Jan 2009
To me, Janet Gaynor MAKES this movie. Her acting is so subtle, so sweet, and warm that you just can't take your eyes off her. For such an early film, the style is beautiful and breathtaking. Even if you don't like silent films, you might find yourself drawn into this one.
