Review of Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) by Daniel F — 15 Nov 2010
F.W.Murnau "Sunrise" from 1927, with its melodramatic but exquisitely executed plot, is a masterpiece of the silent era. As close to "Metropolis" in its message of emotion vs. technology / social change, it is at the same time different in every aspect of movie dramatical effect.
A delight.
