Review of Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) by Zach T — 31 Jan 2013
Surprisingly good for a silent film. I know I shouldn't be biased about silence in film but I admit I am. Sunrise actually had intelligent cinematography which is rare for the 20's and, as always, Murnau's use of heavy shadows was absolutely masterful!
