Review of Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) by Ben R — 01 Mar 2013
Sunrise: A song of Two Humans is the apex of great film-making during the silent era, and in my opinion, is only approached in its greatness by City Lights in the category of so-called "silent" films.
It is terribly sad that F.W. Murnau died so young, because he was certainly one of the greatest film directors who has ever lived.
