Review of Sunrise (1985) by Andrew S — 02 Jun 2007
Murnau shows off his directorial talents with this Oscar-winning film. Truly deserving of its award, this was a very unique and artistic picture.
A fling with a pretty city lady causes O'Brien to hatch a plan to kill his wife. He decides that he cannot do it at the last minute.
"A song of two humans" then ensues and we are taken on a ride through the emotions wrought by love... and loss.
Sunrise is a landmark dramatic film that will leave you feeling like you have just witnessed an creation of a great peace of art.
