Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans, is truly a masterpiece of German expressionism, and the greatest silent film I've ever witnessed. When watching it, I had a rare experience. I felt a rush of emotion.
I wasn't watching the film, I was experiencing the film, which is beyond criticism. This proves that film is truly an art-form.
