Review of Sunday in New York (1963) by Lee M — 28 Dec 2015
Basically, Netflix & Chill. This couldn't be made today. Sad. Fonda does a good job playing a sensible human being. So she sees her bro's a sleaze and decides because of it to become one herself? Ah, old Jane is back. Her fiancee is Seahawks QB. Incredibly well written. A charming and delightful film.
I dont understand where backus was when he talked on the phone. He should have been in Denver as that flight already left. but they acted as though they were on their way to denver. couldve been a stop, but a stop is never mentioned. quibble.
While I appreciate the message, not sure how I feel about the subject matter being brought up.
Fonda is like a 60s miley cyrus.
The before bed kiss may have been premature.
Is the message that trying is all that counts?
