Review of Summer of Sam (1999) by Marissa T — 14 Mar 2008
Electrifying filmmaking from Spike Lee, a real underrated gem. F*ck Zodiac, this film does a better job of presenting a serial killer narrative over it's group of characters. I also think it's pretty daring, and the cast goes game in scenes that are riske for a mainstream hollywood production.
Spike is hit or miss, I think S.O.S is one of his best efforts.
