Review of Sully (2016) by Daniel Y — 11 Nov 2016

Sully is a film that tells about the miracle on the Hutson back in the early 2010's. What I like about this film is that it has great performances from everyone involved, eapecially Tom Hanks as Sully and Aaron Eckhart as Jeff Skiles.

Also, Clint Eastwoods direction for this film is pretty good and so is the cinematography. Now I do have problems with this film and they all revolve around pacing. This film jumps everwhere and I feel that if it told it straight forward, then it would've been even better than how it actually turned out to be, because I'd get really into one time period and then it jumps back to present day, after the event, and in my head I'm just saying "Aw come on! I was just getting into that.

" Also they have one too many fldream sequences and I know you have to show the effect that it had on them mentally, but I could've gotten that with only a couple, but they show one too many and I feel that if they would've taken out the one in the beginning, because they show the same exact dream again in the film, then I would've been alright with them.

But, other than that, I don't have any other problems with the movie and I find it a pretty good one and definately reccommendable.
