Review of Sully (2016) by Dan A — 09 Dec 2016
Apart from Laura Linney, whose performance and character writing is terrible (and threatens to derail the rest of the film) Sully is pretty damn good. Tom Hanks is reliable as ever, and Clint Eastwood still has fuel left in the tank as a director despite being 106 years old.
The story is gripping and the plane sequences are brilliant. Might not be the best movie to watch on an actual flight, but hey, it'd be interesting at least.
