Review of Sully (2016) by Mark A — 30 Dec 2016
The scenes of NYPD, coastguard and other rescuers in action are a reminder of the less visible grandeur that is New York City and America. As usual, a top "flight" performance by Tom Ganks. Screenplay leaves much to be desired, such as the conveyance of Sully's PSD symptoms through time jumping flashbacks.
It's not that these weren't effective, just not effective enough.
