Review of Sully (2016) by Alex F — 26 Jan 2017
A great telling of the 2009 "Miracle on the Hudson", in which Captain Sully landed a plane on the Hudson River, and Clint Eastwood does a great job telling this incredible true story and the backlash of it, the consequences that the event itself had in Sully's life overall.
Tom Hanks gives a really great performance as usual, and the script adapts the event itself in a really intense and believably good way, but sometimes the pacing drags on a little bit and it may seem like it's going through the same places it has been or repeating itself a bit.
