Review of Sully (2016) by Tor M — 05 Oct 2017
The true story from the pilot that landed on the Hudson River in 2009. You've heard about it on the news, the spectacular landing, the heroic, great work from the pilot Chesley Sullenberger. What you have not heard about is all the speculations. Was it the right move?
Some claimed that he should have returned to nearby airports, many investigators included. This film primarily focus on the investigations.
Sully, well acted out by Tom Hanks, is always proffesional, but he never like the big fuss about him. Some thank him, other want to blame him for doing such a dangerous move.
OK film, the shortest film from Clint Eastwood actually. It informs and spreads out a rather new story from unknown angles, but you never know about added elements to make it more interesting for the audience.
6.5 out of 10 birds.
