Review of Sully (2016) by Tropicaces — 08 Sep 2016
Hanks is the glue that Honda all this together, but to say that is a waste of ink (or, you know, characters on a keyboard). His Sully is quiet and polite to a fault, and in the hands of any other actor the character would probably be boring.
Much like Eastwood's AMERICAN SNIPER, this isn't told in a straight narrative line, it jumps around. At times this works for context, at other points it feels disjointed. Overall, however, this is solid work as a fine start to the 2016 awards season.
