Review of Sully (2016) by Lizzie M — 17 Nov 2016
Decent as expected. A movie can only be so good when based on real life events. SULLY manages to succeed at turning a short nationwide event into something more entertaining than it was suppose to be. The adrenaline one can receive from watching a computerized plane crash isn't what it use to be.
Especially when you know the outcome of the situation. Plane Crash movie theme fixations ended about sixteen years ago, when Tom Hanks first went down in CAST AWAY. Nevertheless, few people knew of the technics and legalities that happened behind the scenes afterwards; therefore SULLY surprisingly holds a lot of compelling qualities during the final twenty minutes.
