Review of Sully (2016) by Howard M — 05 Dec 2016
Amazing recreation of the river landing and rescue and of dreamed of possible crash landings. Sully was clearly a hero but also an ordinary gay with little to talk about in his background. A few sequences of flashbacks a visit to a bar where he is recognised but left alone, a jog, him learning to.
Fly an some long distance calls home that were often inaudible due to whispering and muttering make up the rest of the film apart from an investigation into his actions which delivers the climax once Sully has stood up for his actions.
Overall worth watching for the action sequences but not much else.
