"Sully: The Miracle on the Hudson River" is a true story about an airplane crash. This movie shows a miraculous event in which the captain of the airplane was able to save all the passengers by his judgment during the emergency situation. This disaster film focuses on the case itself for dramatic devices, but this work also focuses on the main character surrounding it. The captain is agonizing over whether he made the best choice even though he saved all passengers. The truth revealed at the hearing gives the audience an exciting impression.

Chesley Sullenberger, captain of the airplane, has just taken off and finds that all the engines have been destroyed by birds. He said that it would be impossible to return to the control station, and instead emergency lands on the Hudson River. After landing on the river, the rescue takes place quickly and all passengers survive. It was a miracle-like structure, but the committee claims that one engine was working and that the simulation results were enough to justify turning around. The captain asks you to view the simulation and relay the scene at the hearing. In the simulation, another pilot succeeds in the turnaround, but argues that the captain should have turned around; but captain Sully argued that they were excluding the human factor. In any case, he couldn't have a made the turnaround without hitting more birds and he needed the extra time to land on the Hudson river.

Actor Tom Hanks takes the captain and shows that he calmly resolved the case. He grasps all situations and makes a quick landing decision. As a result, all passengers could be rescued, but the Commission's investigation and simulation results make it difficult for him. But the truth shows that his actions were never wrong. Aaron Eckhart calmly follows the instructions of the captain. And he has confidence in the captain. One more important thing was the quick rescue system. Shortly after the incident, rescuers arrived at the scene quickly to rescue the people. By quickly rescuing people who had fallen into the cold water in the middle of winter, it creates an amazing miracle of survival. The audience can see the captain's character by looking at his judgments.

The captain tries an emergency landing on the Hudson River with an amazing knowledge, which is not an easy decision. It is a tremendous judgment that large-scale disasters require and surprisingly, everyone survives. However, the committee of inquiry starts questioning the decision, and disadvantageous evidence appears. The captain worries that his judgment is wrong. However, all the evidence is revealed at the hearing, and it gives a tangible impression, as well as a painful and frustrating feeling. The captain does his best to rescue the survivors to the end, and the rescue team responds immediately and rescues the people.

The work matches the case to the psychological state of the captain, not to the chronological order. It is not merely an interest-oriented film, but it shows the event as it is. The actual event is only a short part of the movie. However, how much the captain suffered is evident in the film. Of course, because of the dramatization of the true story, some things may have been changed. I am impressed because they showed actual survivors and captains at the time of the film 's later events. The incident that occurred on January 15, 2009 was able to create a miracle, not only because of the captain but also by everyone's efforts.
