Preston Sturges might be my favorite filmmaker that no one remembers. His scripts were perfect, and his actors always gave their best. Prior to this, I can't remember if I had ever seen a film with Veronica Lake in it.
Well, I fell in love with her from the first time she opened her mouth. Great film.
