Review of Sullivan's Travels (1941) by Bryan C — 26 Feb 2008
That such a deep and powerful commentary could be made under the guise of light and playful dialogue is intriguing. Director Preston Sturges deftly includes several different themes, all the while mainting a singular tone.
One of the best and most seriously played romantic, screwball comedies ever made.
