Review of Sullivan's Travels (1941) by Jeremy K — 07 Aug 2008
Another one of those great films about the making of films. It is aware of itself but not too much, just enough to make its point: Films can be made to talk about social issues, but a lot of times it just needs to make people laugh.
I loved it as soon as the dialogue started and even more so when the great Veronica Lake appeared onscreen. Watch and enjoy this gem of a film.
