Review of Sullivan's Travels (1941) by Walter C — 08 Dec 2009
A film director wants to make a movie called 'O Brother Where Art Thou' and decides the best way to do research on this serious picture about the poor is to dress up like a hobo and try to live off the ten cents in his pocket.
Lots of great bits of banter and while I wasn't fussy for the main character, everybody who surrounds him is a joy. The scene where Veronica Lake buys him the ham and eggs is the best scene in the movie and she's a pleasure to watch in this one.
