Review of Sullivan's Travels (1941) by Trill F — 03 Apr 2010
This is a film I'd never heard of, until Resentley. I kept hearing about Veronica lake but had not seen her in anything. And the same goes for the director Preston Sturges. What a great film it is, Lake does not disappoint she has this presence on screen you take your eyes off her.
Joel McCrea is fantastic as well. It balances humour and drama very well. This is a film I recommend to any fan off old movies. Fantastic.
