Review of Sullivan's Travels (1941) by Alex K — 04 Oct 2007
A semi-fun, slapstick filled classic journey from the top to the bottom and back to the top. Tries to be moderately anti-racism, yet still comes off as racist and sexist, to a bit of a disconcerting level.
The performances are fairly typical, and the ending is lukewarm. A fairly mediocre movie all around, but still enjoyable.
