Review of Sukiyaki Western Django (2007) by Brian I — 14 Nov 2008
It is quite possibly the first Japanese/Western fusion film. It is an udon western. gosh, i'm so clever.
I expected a better film from Takashi Miike. The dialogue was so stiff and cliched. The story was more boring than that of a sitcom on network TV. It was a visual film so I'm not sure why it had so much dialogue. A Tarantino film would have so much dialogue...he was in a few scenes.
