Very strange mash-up of Leone spaghetti western and post-apocalyplic samurai movie. Potentially a great idea, but just too plodding and comic booky for its own good. The action set pieces are pretty cool, but the lack of a coherent story makes it hard to enjoy.
And even as a fan of QT, his cameos just reek of self indulgence. Still, it's interesting for fans of both genres, just don't expect a good western or a good samurai movie.
