Review of Sukiyaki Western Django (2007) by Robin * — 25 Dec 2008

It's a Miike film. the backdrop is amazing. I liked the language switch. a japanese "Last Man Standing," which is an american "Yojimbo." I think that's funny. sheriff golem was hilarious.

and quentin tarantino was actually pretty good. he had a really funny anachronistic meta-joke. the gun sound effects were perfect. it's got the crazy action and gore that you expect from Miike, and it's a really funny movie.

and the plot isn't important because everyone should have seen at least one version of this story by now.
