Review of Sukiyaki Western Django (2007) by Conrad M — 27 Jan 2009
If you can stay with it to the end it does reward you with a cool, bloody gunfight but it just takes a while to get there. The dialogue is really stiff which I suspect is on purpose as they are mixing in many classic western sayings and actions.
It's pretty dark and a little weird at times with Tarantino playing both a young man and an old-timer. If your into Samurai films or Westerns then this is definatley worth the watch, but if your not then you may find the story telling a bit sketchy.
Fairly entertaining.
