Review of Sukiyaki Western Django (2007) by Teef P — 31 Jan 2009
Beautifully shot, with wicked storytelling. A bit hard to follow at times because of the heavy accents attempting to be 'spaghetti western' cool, but the power of this movie comes from the visuals. Miike and Tarantino bring an amazing Japanese western in the form of 60's westerns. It is a real visual treat, culminating in the most amazing final showdown in the snow.
I highly recommend this movie to anyone who looks action and adventure!
