Though I'm only half-way through it I'm confident in giving it a 4 star rating... even if the 2nd half sucks it's already earned these 4. The marriage of Japanese samurai/gangsta culture with the wild west, plus the fact that Miike has managed to get his Japanese cast to speak understandable English is remarkable.
