The fact that Miike gets a bunch of non-english speaking Japanese actors and actresses (not including the guest starring appearance of Tarantino) to speak english is a little annoying, but besides that it is filled with awesome action-packed sequences that surpass that of many action flicks that Miike has done in the past.
The story, however, is very poor and feels very predictable - not to mention nothing that happens is unexpected - however it is still a fun movie, just not one of Takashi Miike's best.
