Sad, violent, dramatic and sometimes a little over-the-top. Very Tarantino. While I love the idea of crossing Asian cinema with an American western, this film was just so-so for me. I never really connected with any of the characters.
This film was Tarantino's take on the War of the Roses, but with sword fights, gun fights, and lots of tragedy and loss. Still glad I was able to say I saw it though.
