I think Tarantino needs to get out of the fanboy movie worship business after this. While this is essentially a Miike movie, there is too much Tarantino influence. There was a time that was a good thing.
Still an interesting flick, with some interesting visuals and characterizations. Just not enough to really give this movie more than a fleeting once over. Isn't the point of a film to be watchable more than once?
