Although remains shorter for the ambitions of the original material, it keeps a sparkle of its greatness. Don't goes far from being another "forbidden love story", but achieves the challenge of hide the cliché with smart highlights of a more complex story, with more characters which potential it's used to hide plot holes instead of make a bigger film.
