Review of Suicide Squad (2016) by Samitha J — 02 Jul 2017
It's like watching a series of early 2000 video game cut-scenes.
As much as I wanted Jared Leto to do something good with this, it felt uneasy whenever he was on screen, most probably not in the intended way. Will Smith tries his best which makes you feel sorry because it's a lone crusade. Margot tries too, but that forced accent is something expected from a high school drama. Lots of weird decisions by the movie makers which might have looked unique and interesting in concept, but not so much in execution.
