Review of Suicide Squad (2016) by Robbob99 — 07 Aug 2016
At a story and narrative standpoint, Suicide Squad is a hot mess. Numerous plot holes, character motivations that don't add up, possibly the worst comic book villain ever, and I found the opening 30 minutes to be very frustrating to get through.
But once we see the entire team form and interact, the movie slowly improved. Anchored by a great, charismatic Will Smith, an absolutely crazy Margot Robbie, along with the other actors saved the last two acts and make it a fun movie to experience for the rest of the run time.
