Review of Suicide Squad (2016) by Silesixecho — 21 Aug 2016
I have to say that I was pretty disappointed by this movie. I actually liked the first half and the performances of will Smith and Margott Robbie. But then again there were so many problems with this movie.
The most obvious: They did not know what kind of movie they wanted to do. Should it be more light-hearted, dark or dramatic? The music supports this. The first half was carried by a great soundtrack and painted a dynamic picture, the second half was dragged down by overly dramatic superhero pathos.
The plot felt forced. The action was way to gun-focused. Go and watch the Nolan-Batman movies again.
