Yet another flick I don't really get the hate for. Makes me wonder if these "critics" are getting some action under the table by Disney. I digress, now I will go on to say this film has issues.

Mainly that it felt like it was going in two different directions at times. I have to assume this is due to the re-shoots once WB saw that this film wasn't Guardians enough for them. Even though it wasn't intended to be that, to begin with.

Unfortunately what we got was a hodge-podge of two different visions and it really shows. It was, however, an entertaining film, isn't that the point? The action scenes were great and the characters looked great.

I do understand that for some it was hard to get behind these characters as they didn't really give you enough about them to care. The main focus of the film was Harley, Deadshot, Waller and Joker (more on him later).

I loved Will Smith as Deadshot. I was worried about him in that role but he played him perfectly. I was really impressed with most of the acting in the film. Lastly, I understand peoples dismay of Leto's Joker after having the classy portrayal by Ledger.

I get the tattoos were off-putting. Trust me, I had the same reaction. My wife had to talk me down from the ledge. Once I seen the movie I found myself asking why didn't they just make it about the Squad chasing him around as he created chaos all over the city? I feel there wasn't enough of him for people to truly have an opinion of that version of the character, it was just easier to hate on him because of his appearance than to give him a chance.

I enjoyed Leto's portrayal of the Joker based on the little I saw. It was a interesting new take on the character. Check it out if you haven't yet, but watch out you may find you enjoy it.
