Suicide Squad has off-putting story and editing issues, uncertain tone, wasted elements, hit and miss characters and performances, and a super lame villain. Nevertheless, Suicide Squad still has a few merits, with a few great performances (from Smith, Robbie, Hernandez, Courtney and Davis), good action and a few well-executed moments.
