Review of Suicide Squad (2016) by Xander K — 27 Feb 2017

I give it 3 stars because the action was great, and I really liked the fight scenes. However, while I personally quite liked the costumes, and makeup for most of the characters I didn't like the costumes of the Joker and Harley Quinn , I say this because with the Joker they made him look kind of weird to be honest, for example they gave the actor gold grills instead of actually making his teeth look yellow, and they gave him an oversized jacket that made him look more like a pimp than joker; as for Harley I feel like they could of had the actor wear longer shorts with maybe a bit of her character's costume in the comic books thrown in there.

In addition, I thought the acting was okay I thought Will Smith did a pretty good job as Deadshot, but I have to come back to Harley and Joker because I felt like Harley in the movie was very much too dependent of Joker to come and "save" her, and be there for her, which is stupid because she proves in the movie that she can take care of herself so why should she be reliant on joker.

In addition, I felt like the actor playing Joker was not the best version of the joker he seemed to treat Harley a little bit more like a piece of " hot a**" like in the scene where he calls Harley over to show his "friend" a good time, also his laugh sounded more like a cackle then the sinister crazy laugh that is so iconic.

In conclusion, I thought the movie was pretty good I liked the action and such, but those were just a few little things that I found were not good about the movie.
